Cost: Contact us for pricing! Space is limited. Early registration recommended. This class is geared more towards our advanced and intermediate level artists.
Frederick Sanders (FRED4FACE) was an artist long before he ventured into the world of cosmetics. Born and raised in Atlanta, Frederick grew up creatively inspired by the people, places and things he encountered. From a family of four (a mom, dad and older sister), Frederick is a master of many art forms, ranging from his Bachelor’s in Fine Arts degree from Dillard University to his fluency in French, German and Spanish.
Further enriching Frederick’s already impressive education, he received a certificate in English as a Second Language from Trinity. He was working as a teacher and prepping for law school when his path took an unexpected turn. Piquing his curiosity, Frederick walked into a MAC Cosmetics store one day and was hired on the spot.
Frederick has been professionally making up clients since 2004. His work challenges the mold, capturing the client’s best look while maintaining a refined overall presentation.
Kelly Price, Chante Moore, Phylicia Rashad,Pastor Shirley Caesar and India Arie are just a few of the celebrities that Frederick has had the pleasure of working with. He is a sought after makeup artist for events including BET Honors, BET Celebration of Gospel, The Grammys, The Stellar Awards, The Trumpet Awards and The Essence Music Festival.
